I've been messing with computers since I was
just a wee tike, so it's no surprise that I'm a geek. They've always been my hobby till I went to college and needed
a job. I wasn't sure what I
really wanted to do when I grew up and just happened to luck into a job
doing tech support for Hewlett Packard. Since
then I've been in administrator positions at a couple of various companies
and have been exposed to some great technologies. Below I put a couple of the main ones that I either use or
find interesting and want to make sure and share.

Linux - Don't get me wrong I use windows, and dare I say it
even like it, however... I've been watching the different flavors of Linux
grow up the last few years and have actually started using a couple for
various things. Mainly an MP3 box. When
you've got 25gb, it almost requires a separate computer to be a jukebox.
Plus it's always nice to be able to take an
old computer load Linux on it and boom you've got a very able server that
serves WebPages, mail or files just fine.
I use SuSE linux for my desktop but this site is hosted on a Red Hat server.

Video Games - part of the reasons I first got into computers
was for video games. However
I hadn't been playing them for a while till I met Aleen. She
was into video games and well that's all it took, I pulled out the old
computer, revamped it a little and then voila, I was playing Diablo II
with her. It's been all downhill from there. I'm currently on an Unreal
kick, since I got Unreal Tournament 2003 for the pc and for the Xbox for
Christmas.

Xbox - What can I say?
It's a computer that hooks up to my TV and my surround sound system
and has some kick ass games.
Ok. I don't remember who sent
this to me but this is just a cool little script...Mouse
